A 1099 form is a tax form that will be sent out to report any income you received that did not have taxes removed. The IRS will determine how much you may have to pay in taxes.

The CHW program does not report any financial income to any outside entities.

Any stipends received from the CHW program have the potential to impact your social services benefits. It is best to consult your social worker for further details. We recommend that you report any stipends received from the CHW training program.
The CHW training program is a total of 6 weeks and a day. You will be required to be in training two days a week. The specific days depend on the county you are taking the training in.
Anyone is able to apply and participate in the CHW Training Program as long as you are able to participate with a reasonable accommodation.
